For my photography exhibition, I needed fine art archival photo papers. I had a stack of photography papers from past printing jobs lying around and used a few of the Hahnemühle William Turner Fine Art Matte Papers.

In the past I printed on the smaller 8×10″sized papers and remembered being very happy with the prints..

Since quite a few of the pieces for my show are larger sized abstract and mixed media works, I decided to try both the 11×17″ and 17×22″ Hahnemühle William Turner Matte Papers.

Both sized papers are archival and acid free. They look and feel like cold press water-color papers. they are thick papers in terms of weight(310 gsm).  I loved the rich texture of the Hahnemühle William Turner papers.

With my monitor calibrated, I downloaded the ICC profile from Hahnemühle’s website and started the printed process.  Using my trusted Epson Stylus 3880 printer, I was able to get superior color and tonal ranges on my giclee prints.

The papers are now my go to photo papers for my mixed media and abstract limited edition prints.
